Update: Use of face masks

Dear patients and families,

The health and safety of our patients, families and staff are and always will be our priority. For this reason, as of April 23rd, both patients and their families should enter the hospital using face masks. This measure intends to ensure that people arrive protected from their homes, wearing face masks at all times.

It is important that the masks be used correctly, placing them in such a way that both nose and mouth are covered at the same time, since, if used in another way, the expected protection effect loses effectiveness. Remember that these measures aim to safeguarding the health of our patients and their families, as well as the staff who work daily and whose objective is to provide all support to our patients.

It is extremely important to accept these recommendations given they are a preventive measure against the disease caused by the COVID-19 virus. We invite you to follow up on these recommendations in addition to not forgetting to always maintain a healthy distance and frequently wash your hands.
