Shriners Hospital Mexico Received the Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award

It is the Second Consecutive Year in which the Hospital Receives Said Distinction in the Patient Experience Category.

Press Ganey has named the Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico as the winner of the Guardian Excellence Award® 2020 in the Patient Experience category for the second consecutive year. This award recognizes the best performing health organizations with the best performance, and that have achieved a 95th percentile or higher for their performance.

Awarded annually, the Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award is a symbol of recognition for achievement in healthcare, aimed at clients who consistently performed 5% higher than other Press Ganey clients over the course of a year.

The commitment to achieve a pleasant, comfortable and, above all, quality and safe stay for the patients and their family during the hospitalization process, is part of each member of the interdisciplinary team: doctors, nurses, social workers, therapists, psychologists, orthotists, teachers, general services and administrative staff, who work together for this purpose.

Without doubt, the training and continuous education of the staff, equipment innovation, facility maintenance and attitude of each one that makes up this team favors a better experience for the patient and their family.
