Community Health Needs

Shriners Children's is a unique healthcare system with a commitment to its communities.

We are dedicated to helping improve the lives of children in the communities we serve. Each of our locations that offers inpatient services in the United States reaffirms this commitment through the development of a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).

The CHNA is a requirement for tax-exempt hospitals to assess their community's local health needs every three years. An action plan is developed to address these health needs through community engagement and collaborative participation.
