Shriners Children’s Returns to Puerto Rico to Host an Outreach Clinic

For over 50 years, Shriners Children's Philadelphia staff members have traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to provide outpatient orthopedic care to local children.

In a collaboration between Shriners Children's Philadelphia and the Doctors’ Center Hospital | Orlando Health healthcare system, the outpatient clinic uses the facilities to provide care for patients and families, regardless of ability to pay or insurance status.

Many children visit the clinic to supplement their care from local providers, while others have been treated at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia, and visit the clinic to check in with their physicians and therapists.

The clinic will be held on Saturday, November 4, and Sunday, November 5, 2023 at:

Call today to make you appointment. Walk-in appointments will be limited to first come, first served. There are no walk-ins after 2 p.m. on Saturday, and none after 11 a.m. on Sunday.

Space is limited: Only two parents, guardians or caregivers may accompany the patient for the appointment.

Shriners Children’s is a leader in providing care for orthopedic conditions; spinal cord injuries and other spine conditions; rehabilitation and sports injuries. We also offer specialized services, including orthotics and prosthetics. All care and services are provided regardless of the families ability to pay or insurance status for children up to age 18.
