Shriners Children's Culiacan opening press conference

In strategic alliance with Hospital Angeles, Shriners Children's celebrates the opening of its most recent clinic in Culiacan, Sinaloa. This important milestone took place on December 21 at the Hospital Angeles facilities in the city, marking significant progress in Shriners Children's expansion project and consolidating their commitment to providing specialized care to more children in more locations.

As part of the inauguration, the press conference was held in the auditorium of the Hospital Angeles, with the distinguished presence of members from the Shriners Children's Board of Governors and hospital administration, including Dr. Mariano Gonzalez, general administrator, who highlighted the importance of extending the association's mission: “Being able to extend our noble mission to Culiacan means positively impacting the lives of families in the northwest of our country who need support with medical treatments for their pediatric patients."

The conference featured Dr. Felipe Haces, medical director; Sinuhe Pozos, general director of Hospital Angeles Culiacan; Miguel Brostella, head of Board of Governors of Shriners Children's Mexico; and the notable presence of Imperial Sir Jerry Gantt, Sir James E. Stolze Jr., Sir Mark Hartz, and the Illustrious Sirs Ricky Arrocha and Anthony West.

The ribbon-cutting as part of the event was carried out by Angel, the Patient Ambassador from the northern city, representing the children benefited by this project.

With the opening of this clinic in Culiacan, the Shriners Children's system aims to serve more children aged 0 to 18 in the northwest area of the country, eliminating the need to travel to Mexico City. This expansion reflects Shriners Children's Mexico's continued commitment to making specialized health care accessible to communities in need.

The Culiacan Clinic welcomes patients Monday through Friday, operating strictly by appointment and without offering emergency services, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
