Going out to the marina.
Parker:
That's cool.
You going on the water today?
Gloria:
Yeah. My uncle has a boat, so we're going to go out on the water. Hopefully see some sharks and stingrays.
I'm pretty excited.
Parker:
For real?
That's wild.
Gloria:
Well, you and me have been through much scarier than that.
Parker:
You could say that again.
This is my place.
This is where all my thoughts, cares, and fears go away and I just play.
My love for basketball runs deep.
Losing my leg from a car accident when I was younger was really scary, but it also made me want to play even more.
Sure, it's not always easy being a little different than other kids, but getting my prosthetic and my amazing care at Shriners Children's has helped me gain the courage to stand tall in the face of any challenge.
Now there isn't anything that I can't overcome.

Yeah, but look who's getting ready to go swim with sharks.

Right and swim fast.
