Bruce Brenn, M.D., initially went into pediatrics, and enjoyed working with children, but did not feel that was technical enough for him. He went on to do an anesthesia residency and fellowship in pediatric anesthesia. He was also interested in informatics and research in the specific areas of surgical coagulation, pain control, inflammation and operational efficiency. For Dr. Brenn, the fun is combining the highly technical with the human interaction with children to make a safe anesthetic and create a positive experience for patients and their families.
