One of the biggest reasons Jeremy Bauer, M.D., likes working at Shriners Children's Portland is the commitment to providing excellent care by the entire team. As a surgeon, he is just one part of a larger team that includes other physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, occupational/physical and speech therapists, motion analysis laboratory team, as well as an excellent orthotics and prosthetics team. The hospital is large enough to have all the resources to take care of children well, without being massive. This allows children and their families a single location to receive all their care.
