Terri Cappello, M.D., has felt destined to be a doctor since a very young age, but her choice to pursue orthopedics and pediatric orthopedics was all hers. In high school, she saw the pain and disappointment when a basketball player was injured, sparking an interest in orthopedics. This experience, combined with the fact that she had always enjoyed her young nieces and nephews, inspired her to pursue a career in pediatric orthopedics.

Dr. Cappello says that interacting with children is the best part of her job because they never fail to make her smile and always bring joy to her day.

She has been quoted on Today.com, Parents Magazine, and published research in JPOSNA and other professional publications.
