Judith L. Gooch, M.D., is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist at Shriners Children's Salt Lake City. She received her medical degree from the University of Michigan, where she also did her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency.

Dr. Gooch specializes in the management of motor disabilities in children and follows up with them into adulthood. She understands the lifelong needs of children with motor disabilities. She is internationally known for spasticity management and management of motor disabilities, having given lectures nationally and internationally, and written many articles.

The foundation of her practice is helping patients find ways to use brain plasticity to improve their function. Dr. Gooch finds it a profound privilege to be working in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation, helping people move, talk, think, function and live life.
