Michael Gee became a pediatric radiologist to help pediatricians and families determine why children are sick and not feeling well. Because children are not always able to tell us what is wrong, imaging plays a very important role in diagnosing pediatric diseases and determining the best course of treatment. Pediatric radiologists, like Dr. Gee, are experts in different imaging modalities (including xray, ultrasound, CAT scan, and MRI), and they make sure that the right imaging test is used for each child based on what will best help them get better.
