Manu S. Raam, M.D., is a pediatrician with a focus on treating children with special health care needs, from both resource-limited international settings and local, lower-income and underinsured areas of need. He is the director of the osteogenesis imperfecta program at Shriners Children's Southern California, and supervises the medical management of patients with genetic bone disorders such as osteogenesis imperfecta and X-linked hypophosphatemic rickets, as well as other skeletal dysplasias. He also focuses on the pediatric care of patients with spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, arthrogryposis and craniofacial conditions. Apart from his role at Shriners Children's, he is also a general pediatrician at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and is additionally involved in treating patients with spina bifida there.
