After completing pediatric residency at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, following medical school at Kurnool Medical College, in India, Dr. Shivaram further trained in the UK and the US. He qualified for American Board of Pediatrics after a one-year residency at Columbus Hospital, affiliated with Northwestern School of Medicine and Children's Hospital. He further obtained fellowship training at Denver Children's Hospital.

Dr. Shivaram has been working as a pediatric and general emergency medicine physician in the St. Louis area since 1998, and has been a staff pediatrician providing inpatient coverage at Shriners Children's St. Louis since 2003. Dr. Shivaram brings his extensive training and experience to provide on-call nighttime coverage for our patients at Shriners Children's. He strongly believes in the mission of Shriners Children's where much needed orthopedic care services are provided to patients of all backgrounds irrespective of ethnicity, religion or national origin.
