Polina Voronov, M.D.'s career as a physician started in Russia where she finished medical school and practiced as a pediatrician. In the United States, Dr. Voronov became anesthesiologist, but her desire to help children encouraged her to finish a fellowship as a pediatric anesthesiologist. She has been practicing pediatric anesthesia for almost 20 years.

Dr. Voronov says it is an honor to be part of the Shriners Children's family, using her knowledge and courage to treat children. Every day starts with meeting children and their families, making them comfortable by explaining anesthesia, and giving choices for pain control. She says she finds fulfillment in the trust and optimism she and her patients share.
