Missing thumb / fingers is the most common hand disorder treated at Shriners Children’s. Typically only one hand is affected. Other symptoms may include webbed fingers or a short hand or forearm.

An accessory navicular is an extra bone or piece of cartilage in the arch of the foot. Many children born with this condition have no symptoms, while others may feel pain during physical activity. If symptomatic, treatment may be needed.
