Patella-Femoral Instability
Patellar-femoral instability occurs when the kneecap gets dislocated from the joint. Non-operative care plans are often recommended, such as bracing and physical therapy. Shriners Children’s provides both expertise and wrap-around care.

Femoral Antiversion
Femoral anteversion is an inward twisting of the thigh bone (femur), which causes a child to have a pigeon-toed appearance and experience frequent trips or falls. Many cases correct themselves as the child grows.
