A New Mural for the Hospital

When you pass by Shriners Hospital for Children — Canada, you will notice the new mural on our west side wall. We are so proud of it!

The project to renew the image began in December of 2019 under the leadership of the hospital's Arts and Memorabilia Committee, which adopted a theme proposed by the marketing  and communications department. Under the guidance of our talented photographer, Roger Aziz, the team conducted a photo shoot. This resulted in many wonderful images, and selecting only one proved to be a challenge! An internal committee was responsible for choosing several of the photos which best represented our hospital. The Arts and Memorabilia Committee then presented the Board of Governors with several images, and together they chose their four favourite prints. A vote by the employees at the Canada Shriners Hospital resulted in what you see as you enjoy a walk, cycle or drive along Decarie Boulevard. A sincere #THANKYOU to all who participated in the process.
