Shriners Hospitals for Children — Erie welcomes Allison Wahoff, D.O.! Dr. Wahoff joins the team with the goal of expanding the pediatric physiatry program at the Erie Shriners Medical Center. She is the only physiatrist practicing pediatrics in the Erie, Pennsylvania, region. Dr. Wahoff will focus on non-surgical care for kids with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions including sports injuries, adaptive sports, amputations or limb deficiencies. In addition, she will focus on a team rehabilitative approach to conditions such as cerebral palsy, scoliosis, spina bifida, torticollis and plagiocephaly. She will also offer osteopathic manipulative treatment and acupuncture, if appropriate, in the treatment plan for these patients. The goal is to maximize independence and function, and facilitate enjoyment of living.

A veteran of the United States Army, Dr. Wahoff is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R). She received her doctor of osteopathy degree from LECOM (Erie) and completed a PM&R residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
