Shriners Hospitals Clinic to Open in Monterrey

One hundred years after its inception, the Shriners Hospitals for Children healthcare system aims to improve the quality of life for children with orthopedic conditions through the highest quality, family-centered care, regardless of the ability to pay of the patient or their family.

Shriners Hospitals for Children expands its frontiers of specialized medical care and reaches the city of Monterrey within the facilities of CHRISTUS MUGUERZA Hospital Sur.

This project seeks to provide support through medical visits and orthopedic treatments to patients in the northeast of the country without having to travel to Mexico City. Some of the orthopedic conditions that will be treated are: Perthes disease, talipes equinovarus, hip dysplasia, gait problems and angular deformities of the lower limbs.

It is important to mention that the clinic will not be available for emergencies and will only provide services with previously scheduled appointments.

To request a first-time consultation, the family member must send an email to: MEX-Pacientesnoreste@shrinenet.org.

On a temporary basis and with the aim of starting medical care for children who require it, consultations will be provided in a private office located inside the CHRISTUS MUGUERZA Hospital Sur Hospital, an institution that will house the fully equipped clinic to provide high-level medical care that distinguishes Shriners Hospitals, and which is currently under construction.
