Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico
Dr. Felipe Haces:
The Suárez Hospital in Mexico City provides care to patients from 0 to 18 years of age with orthopedic conditions, such as developmental dysplasia of the hip, also known as congenital hip dislocation, deformities of the feet, congenital adduct clubfoot, scoliosis, treatment of orthopedic conditions in patients with infantile cerebral palsy and another conditions, hand surgery and correction of angular deformities of the extremities. We also provide services to patients with burns sequelae. These sequelae are the injuries produced by the original burn, which limits the function of the joints, painful or retractile scars, and aesthetic issues. It is important to mention that we do not provide treatment for acute burns, which are those that the patient has recently suffered in an accident. I want to mention that, due to the entire world situation and that, obviously, also in Mexico we are experiencing the pandemic, it is important to make your appointment and go to the hospital only with one family member and both should wear a face mask from the moment you arrive at the hospital until you leave; that is, during your entire stay in the hospital you should wear a face mask.
