Ally:

Hi. I'm Ally.

Larry Leib:

Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine. But today she's here to spend some time with the University of Michigan baseball team.

Ally, Patient at Shriners Children's Philadelphia:

Yes, I'm so excited. I was diagnosed when I was 13 in the summer, like summer going into eighth grade. It's safe to say I've been there at least 20 times, flying there or driving there. And each time I go there, it's a very personal experience. I've had one surgery so far, and I am currently looking into having a second surgery.

Michael, Ally's Father:

When Shriners said that they would take care of her, it just completely put us at ease.

Ally:

I threw one, one good one.

Tracy Smith, University of Michigan Head Baseball Coach:

I have to say what a privilege it was to spend time and our team spend time with Ally and her family. We feel fortunate to be a part of this overall mission, which is much greater than baseball.
