Sarah E. Kaveney, MA, CCC/SLP, is from Erie, Pennsylvania. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders from Penn State University. She then attended Edinboro University to complete her master's degree in speech language pathology. Sarah began her career in early intervention, treating clients from birth to age 3, and currently works with children who are deaf and hard of hearing, through Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.
Sarah has treated and evaluated patients with various diagnoses, including expressive and receptive language disorders, speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, autism, cognitive developmental delays, genetic disorders, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, sensory processing disorders, ADHD/ADD and more. She has experience with implementing high-tech Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Systems and experience with cochlear implants and hearing aids. Sarah has intermediate level skills in American Sign Language (ASL).
Sarah is licensed in Pennsylvania and actively holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence. She is excited to provide services to you and your child.
