Scott Riley, M.D., is a pediatric orthopedic specialist at Shriners Children's Lexington. Dr. Riley started at Shriners Children's Lexington as a consulting physician in the early 2000s, and came on full-time as the director of the hand and upper extremity service in 2013
Dr. Riley earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at St. Luke's Hospital and a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery from Case Western Reserve University Affiliated Hospitals. He is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Kentucky.
Areas of interest to Dr. Riley include pediatric hand and upper extremity disorders and brachial plexus birth palsy.
Dr. Riley said he loves working at Shriners Children's Lexington because it's always about the patients. "The children are so fun and energizing," he said. "I'm always happy to come to work."
In his free time, he enjoys golf and also plays multiple instruments.
