Make a Difference: Toy Donations for Shriners Children’s Greenville

At Shriners Children’s Greenville, toys and games are more than just entertainment – they are tools that bring comfort, healing and joy to our patients and their families during their hospital journey.

Our hospital departments carefully select toys, games and essential items best suited for each patient’s unique needs. To ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, we follow strict infection control policies and can only accept new items – no collections, stored items or previously used toys.

Helpful Information

When planning your donation, keep the following guidelines in mind:

• Patient privacy regulations (HIPAA) prevent us from allowing donors to personally distribute toys to patients.
• We do not accept games, books or toys that depict violence or include toy weapons.
• No latex items, stuffed animals or plush toys.
• Toys should be new, in original packaging, with tags attached.
• Please do not wrap toys.
• Sharp, glass, ceramic or breakable items are not accepted.
• Toys and games suitable for sitting are encouraged for patients with limited mobility.
• All donations should be scheduled for delivery – unscheduled drop-offs cannot be accommodated.
• Please consult with our hospital before donating durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers or standers.
