Our Affiliations and Partners

Shriners Hospitals for Children Canada and McGill University are partners committed to excellence and innovation in care, research and education.

Shriners Hospitals for Children Canada and McGill University have been working together for decades to develop and deliver innovative orthopedic treatments for children. As part of this relationship, many of our physicians and researchers are also teachers in the Orthopedic Department of the Faculty of Medicine at McGill.

These professionals are highly skilled and are committed to providing the highest possible level of care to our patients.

Coordinating Care with Neighboring Facilities

Shriners Hospitals for Children Canada is located on the Glen Site in Montreal, Quebec. The Glen Site is home to a number of other world-class providers, including Montreal Children’s Hospital. This unique location allows our team to work closely with physicians and surgeons at these neighboring facilities to coordinate care plans for patients who require surgery or other specialized procedures.

We continue to form relationships with other hospitals and care centers in surrounding regions to make our services available to communities across Canada. Thanks to these relationships, the use of telemedicine, and outreach clinics, we are able to serve children and families throughout Canada, the Northeast states and around the world.

We Understand the Unique Medical Needs of Children

We provide vital, pioneering treatment from birth to age 18. Here, children have the opportunity to be evaluated and treated by doctors recognized as the best by their peers.
